A California company that operates the world’s second largest network of cold storage warehouses this week added cold storage facilities in Tacoma and Algona to its property portfolio.
Lineage Logistics of Colton, Calif., announced it has acquired Tacoma and Algona warehouses owned by Seattle Cold Storage. Lineage already operates two Western Washington refrigerated warehouses, Seafreeze and CityIce in Seattle.
Together, the two new warehouses comprise 420,000 square feet of additional storage area. The company operates warehouses on the West Coast, the Southeast, Texas and other parts of the nation that total 13 million square feet.
