A longshore worker was recovering from minor injuries Thursday he received while he was lashing down containers on a ship at the Port of Tacoma’s Husky Terminal Wednesday night.
Port spokeswoman Tara Mattina said the worker apparently missed a step while climbing and fell to the ship’s deck. The ship was “K” Line’s Chiswick Bridge.
The injured worker was placed on a back board by firefighters and lifted off the ship using a terminal container crane.
