An early morning garage fire at Sea-Tac Airport has destroyed eight cars and damaged 10 more.
Investigators probing the fire believe it began in a single car with a mechanical defect. Firefighters from both the Port of Seattle’s Fire Department and SeaTac Fire Department fought the flames in a part of the airport’s vast garage’s sixth floor near its north end.
