Wilco, an Oregon-based agricultural supply cooperative, has announced the purchase of the Laughlin Oil Co. bulk fuel and lube business from ARS Fresno. Service to customers under the new ownership will begin Saturday, Wilco said in a release.
In 2010, Wilco arranged a long-term lease of the former Stroh’s Feed and Garden Supply in Gig Harbor.
Wilco currently operates 22 locations including retail farm stores and agricultural centers, and has reported annual sales of approximately $250 million.
A Wilco spokesman said Friday that the Laughlin transaction will primarily affect customers in Oregon.
