Boeing may be busy, employment may be rising and stocks are once again touching all-time highs, but small businesses owners in Washington continue singing the blues.
The results of a survey released Wednesday by US Bank show that a majority of those business owners continue to feel the country is in a recession – and they feel this moreso than peers nationwide.
According to the “2013 U.S. Bank Small Business Annual Survey”:
• 51 percent of small business owners in Washington feel the U.S. economy is in a recession. This compares to 43 percent of owners nationwide.
